  Hi Lana, thinking of you today. There are way too many days of the year that are especially difficult without the ones we've lost, they're birthdays being one of them.   Aaawwww, lana, ((( big hugs ))) I am so sorry. I am coming up on Isaac's date in Sept, and two other boy's birthdays in August...so grieving for their grief too...especially James, my next-older son. He's still taking it really hard and won't talk to me. Just breaks my heart. but makes me pray a lot for them all....I still get suprised sometimes, by how hard I can get hit with a reminder of some kind. But thankfully, it comes and goes a lot quicker now. We all heal as we are ready and able....it just works that way. Do you have someone you can spend the day with?

  Chad's birthday is August 30th. He was killed exactly one week later. I am not looking forward to the upcoming days.

  Those meetings and all my friends here at DS are what is getting me through.
  We all go through those valleys. Just when you think you are making progress, bam... you are back down. But soon the better days will come more often. Please hang in and know that you are loved and thought of daily.
