About Me
Hermit (contemplative prayer life), living Private Vows of POVERTY, CHASTITY & OBEDIENCE, in the Discalced Carmelite tradition. In process of official recognition in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, 53 years young, living in the awesome beauty of God's creation, Grafton, West Virginia. I try to remain in the Hermitage a good majority of the time in prayer. I save my trips out for necessities to Sundays & Tuesdays when I have to go out for Holy Mass & Direction. My parish community is St. Ann in Shinnston, WV, Fr. Karl is my pastor & spiritual director.

Prayers of Thanksgiving and gratefulness are being sent up as we speak! We all pray for your speedy recovery. Remember God said our bodies are mortal but our spirit shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever!! May God hold you in the palm of His hand, while you recover!! God bless you, Sister!!

Close Fibromyalgia
Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1979, Asthma, COPD, Epstein-Barr, in 1991 and NF1 in 2000. Was told that Fibromyalgia often comes out of trauma which makes perfect sense since I was sexually abused by my father from age 2 to 18 and then broke my neck in a horrible car accident in 1973/New Year's Eve hit by a drunk from behind in a Ford Pinto.

- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- If you like sleeping this is fine and it also affects liver function.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- It is not perfect but at least it is something that helps pain symptoms.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Worked well for years until I switched to Cymbalta.
- Elavil Not Working
- Affected my liver function and left me feeling high all the time.
- Guaifenesin Not Working
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- However, I am struggling with side effects more specifically the weight gain which does not help me overall.
- Neurontin Not Working
- JUST SAY NO!! HAD WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE ON NEURONTIN & FRIENDS HAVE EXPERIENCED SAME SO I WOULD SUGGEST STAYING AWAY AND TRYING Lyrica.

- Praise God, I recently received a B-12 shot and it has really helped.
Close Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaDiagnosed in 1991 with Asthma & COPD. Suffer with bouts of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia.

Open Neurofibromatosis
Diagnosed with NF1 in 2000. I have been told there are not treatments. My biggest problems resulting from NF1 are hemagiomas that develop in my spine, taking over the discs and I have had 12 surgeries in the last three years for spinal stuff. I also have cataracts but they are not significant yet.

Open Migraine Headaches
I have had migraines from mild to acute for as long as I can remember with very little success with treatment other than going into a quiet very dark room and drugging myself to sleep. Torodol in injection has worked for me in the past when I have gotten acute and had to go to the ER.
