Heinze is just barely hanging on but he is still with me. He can take a few steps
at a time and that's it. He will only take a little water. I did give him an
antibiotic just in case.
My vet won't come out this far to see him and he's too sick to get into
my car - it's an SUV and he can't make it up that high. But it wouldn't do
much good. He's not in pain and that is what is
most important to me.
I just want him to be able to pass over peacefully. It is his time to go. I
don't think too many dogs live past 14 or 15 - except small dogs -
they can live until 18. But Heinze is a big boy - and he's had a lot of life and I
just have to accpet this.
