Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I am 37 & haven't met my husband or had babies yet.And now the PCOS has progressed to the point I seldom if ever have a period. I have been suffering from PCOS after having contracted Lyme Disease. Anyone else here have Lyme disease too? Anyway, I have these sudden weight gains out of nowhere. I am now 70 pounds heavier than I was. I can't seem to find any help. Metformin made me very ill,&I've never been able to take the pill.I work out 4 days a week & try to eat right.What has worked for you?

I was diagnosed after getting the bulls eye rash in 1989. I have been sick off and on ever since. I keep the symptoms down by keeping my immunity up. PCOS symptoms added to the Lymes a few years later. Who with chronic lymes has had children? Did the lyme symptoms act up when pregnant? Are your children healty?
Treatments
- Ceftriaxone Working / Worked
- I had IV antibiotics in 1992. I take Cipro now for at least 14 days when I start having symptoms.
- Doxycycline Working / Worked
- I took oral Doxycycline when I was first bit.
