what in the world? Mood
Wednesday, October 8, 2008 | A Frustrating story

Ok, I finally went to have the transvaginal ultrasound, and guess what?  They couldnt find my ovaries.  However, they did find that my falopian tube is filled with fluid and is twisted, and looks like a big sausage.  So, basically all I know is that I have a big sausage and NO EGGS!.. I am very frustrated. My gyne-oncologist appt is the 15th, but I am calling tomorrow to get an appt ASAP.  He did say that the falopian tube is NOT what was seen on a previous ct scan. because it showed an ovary with septations...he said I am probably going to have some exploratory surgery to find out whats going on....I wish someone would tell me...Cry

He also said...did you know you have a kidneystone in your left ureter...I said...oh well maybe thats why I am in horrible painYell

anyway thats my update for today...I will let everyone know whats going on as soon as I find a dr that can find my innerds.....lol

It sounds like that is what is causing the pain. I don't blame you to try to get in earlier. I am sure you will get this all sorted out soon. Hoping you are feeling better. Much love and hugs to you.

I just want you to know ...my exploratory surgery was pretty painless. I was back to work in 3 days. It will give you the answers you need as it did me also. Keep your chin up. I know this is so difficult for you not knowing what is going on.
    Big hugs.....Beth

    Hi Donna
It seems the pain is coming from the ureter srone . Sooner you go through the exploratory , sooner you will have the peace of mind ! You have been through few ultrasounds and scans and a definite answer is not there yet prolonging your anxiety . May be it is time to "hold the bull by its horns " and have the exploratory laparotomy to deal with the ureter stone , the twisted tubes and the ovarian cysts all in one go . It may be bit more extensive than usual exploratories meaning longer recovery time , but hey ! life is like that and sometimes gives us several blows in quick succession and we have no choice but deal with it !
I pray that all this is over for you soon . God bless you and give you the strengh to go through it and come out at the other end smiling !!
    Mega hugs ................Monica
