I went to the ER for diverticulitis in Feb, and then again in june... they did CT scans and indeed, I had diverticulitis. Well, here it is sept, and I needed to go again, but called my GI instead. He made me an appt for the next day. So he asked me to bring all the reports from the er and the CD of the cat scans. I did, and he is sending me to a gyn-oncologist, because the feb CT showed multiloculated cysts, and in june, the cysys had grown, and said they cant rule out malignancy...
I had a hysterectomy in 1998...with my ovaries and tubes in tact, ...10 years down the road and I am having problems. I was told I have a fluid filled fallopian tube, and that an ultrasound showed NO OVARIES..my dr said that they have atrophied(sp)...I am having my tubes ane ovaries removed on dec 2nd 2008...my dr said I am peri menopausal, does this mean that when my ovaries are removed I will be in full blown menopause?
