Food for Today
Strawberries, blueberries, bananas and mandrin oranges
Cheese Stick and Fiber One Bar
2 Slices rolled up Turkey Breast with banana peppers
Tomatoes, Zuchinni, Sugar Snap Peas w/Light Ranch
2 Corn Tortillas with fat free Mozz, few pcs of chicken, slice avocado and salsa
Few bites of fresh cooked broccoli from garden (Jimmy had the rest)
Few bites of grilled pork tenderloin
Trying to stay under 1400 cals.
I wanted to exercise today but I am feeling really tired and it's almost 7 - NEED SLEEP.
Last night I prepared meals, I cooked a whole chicken, made chicken salad with some left over grilled chicken, cooked turkey and salmon burgers on the grill along with a pork tenderloin. Also cooked zuchinni on the grill with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. I sliced up veggies for the week and last night I didn't get to bed until 12:20 cuz I wated till Jim got home again, been missin' him. I got up this morning at 6 so not so bad but I've done that all weekend so I could see hubby.
Work is ok, slow but ok. Trying not to let things get to me and taking one day at a time and thinking and planning ahead so I can reach my goal! I do have something to look forwad to and a motivation thing. - We never had a 10 yr high school reunion and this year they are planning one finally. They are having a pre-reunion get together at a local bar near my house which would be awesome to see some of my old pals. I graduated in 1991! So exciting! So of course I want to look my best and it's not till Sept 4th. OMG and my 5k is Sept 6th.
Trying to make it a priority to get on DS to post cuz I know this helps and reading all your great comments - Your all such great friends, THANKS!!!

Great job Kathy! I am so glad to see you back on track and in control again! Woohoo! Keep focusing on the emotional part of this too, it is important to see where we stumble so that way we can prevent it from happening in the future. I know how it is with the lack of sleep thing, man it is hard.
Your HS renuion sounds like it will be a lot of fun! And great timing with happening on the same weekend as your 5k!

I haven't been to a HS reunion. That will be nice to see old friends. And with the new confident YOU will be GREAT! Imagine meeting up with your friends you haven't seen in a while and saying, "yeah, doing a little of this and a little of that. And, oh yeah, by the way, I am running 5k's!" That will be cool!
