What a beautiful Tuesay ~ weather is nice and I'm here at work with my windows open taking in all the fresh air.  Wish I was home - hubby finished up today and is off for 9, yep 9 days.......  Lucky dog :-)  It is a boring day today, very slow - yuk but I will get thru it, had my energy drink so hopefully it will get me thru the day quick.  Yesterday I drink like 100 oz, that is good for me.  Just a H2O day I guess.  Got in a great 60 min Total Conditioning - weights and cardio mix.  My HR monitor was giving me trouble but I bet I burned over 400 cals - phew.  Got home in enough time to see Jim off to work.  Jimmy is home with him today since he's got swimmers ear - poor guy - no swimming for 5 days!  Today would have been swimming at camp so no go for him but he will be back tomorrow for a field trip to the museum and then Thursday for a McDonald's day.  I love McD's parfaits - YUM!!!

 

So since Jim will be in the garage finishing up a side job, I'm gonna take Jimmy bike riding so I can get some miles in. 5k 8 weeks away.  I'm gonna be better prepared this time!  Then tomorrow is another Total Conditioning class and then again on Friday.  3 days a week of that and then running should jump start this body of mine to get back on track.  Eating is good too.

 

This morning was 1/2 12 grain w/slice ham and 1/2 swiss melted in toaster.  Serving of dry cereal (strawberry shredded wheat squares), I have to find the oatmeal squares - that's even better!  I also had a mini blueberry muffin that I had made.  Snacks are almonds, cheese stick, granola bar and strawberries and lunch is sugar snap peas, ham/provolone on wheat bagel.  Dinner will probably be a light dinner (maybe taco salad). 

 

Determined to get under 140 and go from there - Emily is kicking my butt.  Was at 143.6 this morning - YAY but should be under 140 by now.  Let too much stuff get in the way.  Feeling pretty jiggly these days from taking off so much with everything going on.  Didn't like the way I looked in the mirrors last night either working out.  I really have a problem with my lower half/thighs and knee area.  I noticed my butt isn't as good lookin either - hee hee, really!  Kinda gettin my booty back - for me not a good thing. haaa haaa. 

 

Come on girls, keep it going.  Lets enjoy this summer being healthy and happy!!!  We need to live for today and make every day a great one!

    Thanks Kathy. I remember thinking about a year ago, "What is this lady bitching about at 140ish! She looks great!" So, I'm thrilled to be where you are.

    Sounds like lots of fun for Jimmy in the works, that's nice. Too bad about the swimmers ear. They make drops to clear out the water trapped in there, I use them for my big kids if they feel water in there after swimming and we never have problems. Not Brian with the tubes though. Hope the work day ends quick! Your food and exercise look great, I'm doing good today too. Nice when it doesn't feel like a HUGE battle. Anyway, keep up the good work!

    You are doing so well and I LOVE your positive attitude. I am sure your legs and booty aren't as bad as you perceive in the mirror but you are doing the best thing in the world for tightening up the "giggly feeling" LMAO!!! Hey, how about that? Laughter to work our butts off? Hee Hee!!! I'm rooting for you Kathy! You go woman! Love ya!

    I am so glad to see you are feeling positive and happy again! Woohoo for that! Great job on your 100 oz of water Kathy, that is a LOT! I am sure you and hubby will have a lot of fun these next 9 days, it is going to be so cool for you to have him back at home for an extended period of time! :)
