What triggered me was last night in bed with Big Daddy :-) I did not like the way I felt or looked when ........ That's when it hits like I need to do something, fast! I'm 37 years old, I need to get this under control once and for all!
No matter the age, we got it in us to succeed! This is what makes us happy and healthy too.
Will update more later but plan on running today too!

Food listed is what I have prepared for today but wanted to add a few more items with approx cal totals. BP changed to 1 tbspn 105 cals, 7oz pear is about 150 cals, bell peppers about 25 cals, cucumbers about 15 cals and I added a cup of 2%, got in all my veggies, fruits, almonds, fiber :-) and brings me to a total about 1060 cals before dinner. I'd like to stick with 1400 cals. Did one workout and plan on running inside or out, no excuses - I've had enough of this "I don't like the way I feel and look" attitude. Happy but not happy kinda thing. Anyways - Thanks for your support and encouragements on my run. I was super excited about it and even more when I got my results. There were lots of indiv that did the duathlon by themselves. There were 20 co-ed teams and Pat and I got 8 out of 20 and out of the total teams we placed 13 out of 33. Pat did this himself last year and his time was 1:05:17 and this being my 1st with him we did it in 1:09:27 so I was happy that I only added about 4 min to his time from the prev yr but now I have a time to beat and I will try my best to get under 1 hr, Pat had a hard time biking cuz of the wind though. He did better last year biking and his runs were in the 8min range. Thanks again. Wanted to update, I feel that DS is where I need to be to stay on track and I have to use it to reach my goals - THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! Oh, sorry about my Big Daddy comment, :-) I weighed myself and was at 145 this morning, creeping up is not the way I want to go. Goal 130 and I will do it, 15 lbs to get there and stay!

Better to call him Big Daddy than little daddy! I think it's funny. YAY Kathy your race was awesome and I am so happy for you. It's nice when we figure it out and just are able to put the pieces together. I know that I need to be here on DS with you guys too and when I am not, I fall apart fast. Life gets in the way sometimes when you have a family/home/job to maintain too. Sometimes I just wish it was me and only me I had to take care of. So YAY your food looks great and your exercise is perfect! Keep up the good work Little Mama! (((HUG)))
