Well I can say that I am feeling …
Well I can say that I am feeling stronger and stronger each day since my miscarriage and look forward to trying again …
So today is the big race day - Can't believe it's already here. I got up with Jim at 4:30 didn't want to take that chance of over sleeping and missing my race. I just couldn't sleep and just nervous as heck right now - I know I will do fine but there will be so many people. Over 500 #'s given out but one number can be 2 people or 1 so I bet with spectators, close to 1000 people - amazing and all the proceeds go to "Together We Cope" - it's a program that helps the one's in need - our town and sourrounding towns. I'm sure these days there are plenty less unfortunate than me and that's what makes this even more touching that I'm actually helping in a small way possibly helping another family even though things can be tight for us at times. It's nice that we have that program for people that live near us or around us. They hold breakfast with Santa and Easter Bunny every hear at the H.S. and that $ also goes towards the program. They have so many other fundraisers too. They don't sell stuff they give to families that are really hurting right now.
So today I have my Duathlon, then get home to shower and get all ready for a Bridal Shower - Jim's little sister's friend. So busy busy day! Did I tell you that I'm nervous. Had to get on here to kinda release some nervousness :-)
Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I will try to post later and tell you how it went.
Phew..... I will try to get Jimmy to take a picture of me with my #.

Thanks! It was great, very nervous but I did it. Finished #13 out of #26 pairs, the others did whole thing (run, bike, run). Pat did the bike in about 28 min. I ran quicker the 1st 2 miles and then the last 2 were a little tougher but in all I burned over 600 cals. Ready to plan for next year. Thanks for all your support gals - I really appreciate it! I felt good, Pat said he didn't think I would do as well as I did, so I will take that as a compliment right?
