Just wanted to say that I am very happy today because we finally got to go on our helicopter ride that was a wedding …
Super tired today. Went to bed late (11pm) and got up at 4:30 to take care of pups before I had to get ready for work. Yaaaaaaaaawn! ![]()
At work today till 3 then off to p/u news papers from mil neighbor, she works at a newspaper company - nice! We have been going thru the papers like mad - those little stinkers/mess makers!
I just ran around after work yesterday and got home and was going going and going. Jim calls, hey can you make me a sandwich for when I get home...... OK-So I had to stop what I was doing to make him dinner
- Bite my tongue (should have picked something up for himself). He had a safety thing so had to go into work from 7-3, come home to swap vehicles to pick up tools at rental and meet a guy a 5:30 (oh, did I mention he stopped at the bar after class.....hhhhmmmmm). I made Jimmy and I something quick to eat, didn't figure I'd have to take care of him too, he's a big boy and I didn't really know his schedule ya know. He finally got home to get 1 1/2 hrs of sleep before he had to go in for midnights - feel bad but he made it, saw him this morning - HI/BYE kinda morning. We were leaving as he was coming in. We will see him tonight though, he doesn't have to leave until 9pm so maybe we can catch up the 2 biggest loser shows that we haven't watched yet.
So I have been dealing with this lady about a puppy, she's wants a large male and is flying out from New Orleans to Midway (Chicago) to pick up a dog to fly back with her. She really wants this dog. She is married, no kids and just lost a dog but has 2 other big dogs and just wants to add to her family. She has been looking for this mix - Mastweiler they call them actually. We've been going back and forth trying to figure out what's best for the puppy as far as travel, originally she wanted me to ship him alone but after thinking she thought it was best for her just to fly out since she has lost luggage before and to lose a pet would be awful..... She is sending us $400 (300 for the pup, 50 for vet fees so I can get a health report and updated shots and 50 for our time basically cuz we will have to take to airport to meet her - 1/2 hour away) - It's been crazy figuring out flights and airline rules and regulations and pets......
Other than tired, I am ok. Weighed myself this morning and at 136. My pants are falling off literally. Just been super busy, trying to keep up with my cals and staying on track. Feel really good and hoping I finally broke the 140 barrier and can stay at this weight or w/in a few lbs. I'm happy here but staying here is another story. Never been easy for me to maintain but will do my best to stay under 140. I had just gotten over my period so I was glad as far as my weight and what the actual was.
Last night my cals were a little higher, have to add another 180 for almonds. - mmm so good!
Food for today
120 1/2 bagel, 120 provolone, 17 egg white boiled, spray butter and toasted, 130 2% milk, 20 energy drink, 180 almonds, 80 cheese stick, Taquitos (Chicken) 290, twinkie 120 = 1077 then before dinner ![]()

Holy cow Kathy!!! Just reading your entries make me YAWWWNNNNN! Great job for getting under 140! I am hoping in the next month getting down there too. I hope it works out that you can get that lady her puppy, it sounds like she really wants him! Make sure you are eating enough to keep your strength up so you don't end up sick! You are doing so great managing everything!!!!! I am proud of you! (((hugs))) I read your last journal too, thanks for the nice shout out!

Teeny little Kathy!! Woo-hoo! Those little monsters are taking up so much of your time. Maybe a circus will roll into town and adopt them all as trick clown dogs. John stops in all the time wanting lunch and what not and I always stop what I'm doing too. I try to keep in mind he's working his butt off and it's his break and I want to do nice things for him. Not just when it's convenient but all the time. I get the tongue biting though. I saw your last entry too and you are right on target Kathy! Your food logs are awesome you should be so proud! I'm really proud of you.
Keep it up!!!!!

I'm with Cyndi - I think I need a nap reading this entry. Flying with dogs is not easy - especially if they are bigger and have to go in the cargo area. How big are your puppers now? You are doing really well at juggling it all still, and I hope all these lovely dogs find their homes soon so you can have a little break. Yay for under 140! Just remember to eat so you don't get sick on us!

Congrats on the falling off pants, Kathy. You deserve to celebrate YOU! So, let's hear you cheer for yourself a little louder, ok?
Husbands can be worse than the kids sometimes! Usually I don't mind doing things for Brian, he does things for me too though...but if he had stopped at a bar I might have made "the angry sandwich" lol!
You're doing great! Keep it up Kathy...and remember to put KATHY at the top of your priority list!

Great job on gettinng back under 140! You are doing great! As far as maintaing goes, you are going to need to up your cals for maintence. I know you have a resistance to that, but it is necessary because otherwise, you will not have enough fuel to get through your crazy hectic days and you will end up sick or on a binge. Trust me on the maintenance thing. Shoot for 1800 cals a day.At least. Any less than that is too few if you are looking to maintain. PLEASE trust me and try it for a week and see how you feel...
It sounds like this lady is for real, she REALLY wants the dog and I say go for it! I am sure she will give it a terrific home!
Keep on staying strong Kathy! I love you!

Hey....don't forget about you in the rush of life. Congrats on under 140! You can maintain that, with all the other things you manage in your life, this should be a breeze, right??
