NO MORE DIET POP FOR A WEEK!!!!!

 

Wanted to get up at 5am to get on the treadmill this morning but didn't workout - tough getting up especially when going to bed late already and getting up early for the last 2 months between everything going on.  I will start out slow and run every other day and get in 2-3 workouts of weight either at the gym or at home.  Jim starts 3-11 Thursday so it's a perfect opportunity for me to get back into it.  So tonight since I found a rug in the basement I will do my 1st run - 30 min. and go from there.  Hope it's not too tough.

 

Pretty slow at work today, will work the other job on Friday all day so will be nice to work all week w/out any days off.  It was nice having a day off though to catch up at home or whatever.

 

I freaked out yesterday when I went to the dog pen and found out the pups had worms, OMG - I guess it's common for puppies to get worms - Too gross that's all I have to say.  I wanted to cry, felt so bad for them.  I had to take samples and of the other dogs to the vet and see what's needed but our neighbor across the street is a breader and is getting deworming medicine on Wednesday - clears it right up if they only got the one kind - kills the eggs that are hatched - yuk!  They will alreay be 7 weeks this Sat.  The one we are keeping is already 13.6 lbs - HUGE DOGS.....

 

So I am feeling pretty good today, clean eating day too - FINALLY.  Will catch up with everyone too.  Love you all and hope you are having a great week!

    yay for clean eating! I am so glad that you are getting refocused and back on track! GO KATHY! :) Sorry about the pups, I would have freaked out too... I love you! Stay strong and focus focus focus on what needs to get done. If you can't manage a 5am workout (I sure as hell can't! lol) try doing some running this evening, or during the afternoon when you get off work. Maybe you are just not cut out to be an early morning exerciser. I am not saying you aren't, I just know that it is impossible for me to get up that early for a workout and so maybe you would find it more fun at another time of day?

    I like to get in an early workout too, I've just been struggling getting up! I know once I get back in that routine I will be ok...I think the time change hasn't helped any of us either! Yikes! I would've totally freaked out about the worms!!!! They sound like really big puppies!!!!! Your food is looking good, keep up the great work! ((hugs))

    sorry your pups have worms, poor little guys.

    Your determination and new clean eating goal is wonderful. Hopefully it will be infectious. I just can't put things too far ahead or I fail...it becomes overwhelming.
    Hopefully I'll lose enough weight to get to the point where my emotions don't dictate the food and I can say with confidence that I will do a hardcore workout at least 3-4 times per week.
    You are doing GREAT and look at that food log! Go Kathy, Go Kathy!

    I am really glad to hear about the second job. That will make things a lot less stressful I am guessing. Hope the schedule really works out for you. I feel for you about the worms - Otto had the worst worms when we adopted him, and it was terrible getting rid of them. Ewww. Anyway, I'm glad to see you found a rug and all so you can start working out. Hope that first 30 minutes is not too rough. Hugs!
