I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT I AM NOT IN THE ZONE! WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I GET COMFORTABLE AT MY WEIGHT I STOP DOING THE THINGS I SHOULD BE DOING, LIKE EATING HEALTHY AND EXERCISING? IS IT THAT I HATE MAKING THE TIME WHEN TIME IS SO LIMITED OR WHEN THINGS GET A LITTLE STRESSED I JUST LET EVERYTHING GO? I'M ACTUALLY OK WITH MY WEIGHT BUT KNOW I NEED TO JUST INCORPORATE EATING AND EXERCISING INTO MY DAILY ROUTINE PERMANETLY. IT'S JUST A MATTER OF ME DOING IT AND KEEPING UP WITH IT LIKE BRUSHING MY TEETH. I SWEAR I CAN'T SIT DOWN THESE DAYS WITH CLEANING HOUSE, LAUNDRY, JIMMY BACK INTO SCHOOL, WORKING FULL TIME, TAKING TIME FOR FAMILY, ETC. - HOW DO PEOPLE FIT IT IN? I ENJOY GOING OUT TO DINNER, I ENJOY EATING AND I ENJOY LIFE BUT PUTTING ON A FEW LBS HERE AND THERE DOES GET TO ME AND THEN I GET BACK INTO. I JUST HATE KNOWING I LOSE IT, GAIN IT AND THEN LOSE IT AGAIN IN STEAD OF JUST MAINTAINING. THAT'S WHAT I NEED TO DO IS FIND A WAY TO JUST DO IT AND STAY WHERE I'M AT INSTEAD OF THE GAIN/LOSE CYCLE THAT I'VE BEEN PUTTING MY BODY THROUGH FOR YEARS. I GUESS THIS IS NORMAL FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE BUT I THINK I NEED TO FIND THOSE TRIGGERS THAT MAKE ME DO THIS SO I CAN STAY ON THE MAINTAIN CYCLE ONLY AND NOT TORTURE MY BODY LIKE THIS.
I'M DOING OK OTHERWISE, JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS LATELY.
JIMMY'S 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL WAS GOOD. HAD TO DRILL THE INFO OUT OF HIM AS USUAL. HE SAYS IT WAS BORING. THEY WANT MORE, THEY WANT EXCITEMENT, THEY WANT A TEACHER THAT IS FUNNY YA KNOW AND HOW MANY TEACHERS ARE LIKE THAT THAT KEEP THE KIDS ON THEIR TOES YA KNOW? I BET IT CAN BE PRETTY BORING ESPECIALLY BEING THAT YOUNG STILL. HE'S ONLY 6 SO I CAN UNDERSTAND.
HIS TEACHER IS HAVING A BABY IN SEPT. SO SHE WILL BE THERE TILL HER BABY COMES AND THEN A SUB TILL SHE'S BACK IN NOVEMBER, KINDA CRAZY FOR THE KIDS TO ADJUST GOING BACK BUT WHAT DO YA DO.
HOPING TO SPEND TIME WITH THE BOYS TONIGHT AFTER WORK SINCE JIM GOES BACK ON THURSDAY. JIMMY HAS KARATE ON WEDNESDAY SO THAT DAY IS PRETTY MUCH SHOT.

You asked how people fit it all in...I don't. I prioritize and feel guilty for what I don't get to finish each day. The important stuff is always done but always loose ends. If you just keep at it you'll figure out maintenance, I have faith in you! Look at all you've accomplished Kathy! I know you'll do great in your 5K and think about it----how many people ever run a race? You are doing something amazing and really can do whatever you set your mind to.
Glad Jimmy had a good first day bsck to school. It really ticks me off that teachers can leave for a couple months and come back like that. It really messes with the school year for the class. But the kids learn no matter what, it's just nice for the little ones to really bond with their teacher. I had that happen to Katie once too. It seems to me that teachers should get paid maternity leave for the course of the school year that they have the baby. They take care of out kids and should have time to take care of their own.

I know how you feel, but I'm sure you will find a balance with everything going on. Especially when the cold weather arrives, you are going to have more time indoors to work out. It is very important to make time for yourself - even if your schedule is busy. Try getting up 1/2 hour earlier to exercise in the morning, or give yourself 1/2 hour after work. I know that you can do it. I did the exact same thing when I lost 10 pounds. I got comfortable and gained it all back. At least we are conscious of what we are doing and now it is up to us to make a change. You are a strong woman and I have faith in you. Have a great week!

I don't think anyone fits it all in, I know I don't! Right now, our place is a DISASTER and we aren't packed at all for our move! YIKES! Everyone finds a way to get the important stuff done first and tie up the other stuff as we go along :) You're doing awesome! You are such an inspiration and a big motivator! Don't slow down now, you are doing so fantastic!!! Push yourself and achieve your goals, I know you can do it! We all believe it you!

I know exactly how you feel. how are we supposed to fit it all in? But we will, and you have. Just dont let yourself get too down about things. I know you wilget things figured out soon. I'm glad to hear the little guy had a good first day, though it does seem odd to have to have two different teachers.. I'm suprised she came in to teach this year at all.Big hugs and hope you have a better day toorrow.

I do the EXACT same thing!!! I really do! This time I honestly have been forcing myself to keep at it. In my head I am constantly making priority lists and figuring out how much time there is for everything! its nuts....you will get back there, I know it! Your 5k is going to go awesome! big hugs!

I definitely don't fit everything in most days...and I feel guilty about it too. Now I have a kid in HIGH SCHOOL! I am expecting even less time than I have now once she gets involved in after school programs...although I am lucky to live close enough that she could walk home. I slip too, with my diet...and I am just a beginner so I can't really speak to how to find time to maintain. Although I usually workout more when I slip.
I think it should be that you can treat yourself with foods you love in MODERATION as long as you make the time to workout.
