" 1" LB GONE...... FINALLY Mood
Friday, April 25, 2008 | An Inspiring story

I WENT STRAIGHT TO THE GYM AFTER WORK YESTERDAY.  SINCE I WAS EARLY I DID 30 MIN ON CARDIO (WALK 1/2 MILE, RUN 1/2 MILE, WALK 1/2 MILE AND RUN 1/2 MILE).  THEN I WENT TO MY "NO LIMITS" CLASS, WE RAN IN THE GYM, SOMETIMES WE RUN AROUND HALF THE GYM BUT WE DID THE WHOLE GYM.  THEN WE WENT TO THE STAIRS, HAD TO RUN UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS (1ST GROUP) ABOUT 14 STEPS UP AND ANOTHER 14 STEPS UP AND THEN DOWN, BACK UP, DOWN AGAIN FOR 4 MIN. STRAIGHT.  GOT TO TAKE A 4 MIN. BREAK WHEN THE 2ND GROUP WENT BUT THEN SHE MADE US DO IT AGAIN, ANOTHER 4 MIN. - WHAT A WORKOUT!  I WAS SWEATING Yell.  THEN WE GO TO OUR ROOM UPSTAIRS AND DID  CIRCUITS/STATIONS WITH DIFFERENT EXERCISES FOR THE REMAINING OF THE TIME.  YESTERDAY I BURNED OVER 600 CALORIES IN THE 1 1/2 THAT I WAS THERE. - NOT BAD!

 

I BURNED OVER 1200 CAL (MON/TUES/THUR) THIS WEEK ALONE.

 

I GOT HOME AND HAD SOME CAULIFLOWER AND CHICKEN - VERY LIGHT DINNER.

 

THIS MORNING I GOT ON THE SCALE AND IT SAID 142.6 - YIPEEEEE   - FINALLY 1 LBS LOSE!

 

I'VE BEEN WAITING TO SEE A DROP FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW.

 

I WILL TAKE IT!

 

ONLY 2 MORE LBS TO GO TO REACH MY 140 GOAL.

 

I'D LIKE TO SEE THAT GONE BEFORE MY NIGHT AT THE SYBARIS!  I AM SO EXCITED AND CAN'T WAIT - NEXT FRIDAY!

 

TONIGHT I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER FOR BINGO (CONCESSION STAND) FOR 2 HRS - SHOULD BE FUN - I HOPE!  I THINK I'M GONNA SLEEP IN TOMORROW AND THEN WE ALL CAN GO TO THE GYM TOGETHER, I WILL ALSO DO MY STRENGTH CLASS ON SUNDAY. 

 

FOOD F 4 TODAY: 1 C 2% MILK - 130 CAL, 1/2 CINN. BAGEL (135 CAL) W/ALL FRUIT (40 CAL) 1/4 CUP ALMONDS (190 CAL)

 

HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND.  WILL CATCH UP SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN JIM IS WORKING MIDNIGHTS!

SO HAD 2 SAMMIE SINCE VERY VERY SMALL = 400 CAL PLUS BAKED LAYS 130 CAL

TOTAL FOR THE DAY = 1125 S/B CONSUME APPROX 1450 CAL IN ORDER TO LOSE WEIGHT.

 

IT'S 1:30 AND BOSS LEFT FOR THE DAY AND I'M THE ONLY ONE HERE BESIDES THE SHOP GUY - WTF.  IT IS SO DAMN SLOW - CAN'T TAKE IT.  DO YOU THINK SHE'S OUT FINDING WORK, NO SHE'S WORRIED ABOUT LEAVING EARLY ON A FRIDAY WHILE I WAIT SINCE THEY DON'T WANT ME TO LEAVE TO EARLY WITH THE SHOP GUY IN BACK WAREHOUSE.  I'D LIKE TO GET  HOME, SPEND TIME W/HUBBY BEFORE MY CONCESSION STAND VOLUNTEER....  HAPPY FRIDAY - GET YOUR WORK OUT IN AND EAT HEALTHY!!!! KATHY

    I know what you mean about losing the 1 pound. Somehow my metabolism isn't letting me lose very fast, but when I lose just one pound, I visualize the volume of a pound of butter--that makes me feel like it was an accomplishment worth being very proud of!!!!! Have a great weekend!

    Wow, you are really working hard for it, and SO close to your goal!!! Great job! I think your workout sounded different where you guys rotate or take turns. Sounded fun to do it with a bunch of other people. Sorry you got stuck at work, hope when you got outa there you have a great weekend!
