I'M WITH YOU ON THE RECOVERY, IT ALL DEPENDS ON EVERYTHING. MAYBE SHE HAD A PARTICAL HYSTO, MAYBE SHE DIDN'T HAVE ENDO., MAYBE SHE ON CRACK! MAYBE THEY DID THE SURGERY DIFFERENT. I HAD THE LAP. AND VAGINAL HYSTO W/ THE ROBOT AND THEY REMOVED EVERYTHING, EVEN THE CERVIX, AND I WENT HOME THE NEXT DAY, AND I COULD GET AROUND RITE AWAY. DON'T GET ME WRONG I CAN'T LIFT, OR DO MUCH OF ANYTHING. AND THE FIRST 2 WEEKS I COULD NOT LEAVE THE HOME MUCH. SHE WILL PROBLY END UP IN THE HOSPITAL FOR OVER DOING IT OR RIPPING A STITCH, BECAUSE NO MATTER WHAT EVERYONE WILL HAVE STITCHES. DON'T LET IT GET YOU DOWN. IT IS DAY TO DAY. JUST REMEMBER THAT I'M HERE FOR YOU. XOXO CARRI ANN

Open Hysterectomy
I just had a total hysterectomy on may 6 09, released from the hospital on the 8th. I have never in my life felt such pain. I love my doctor to death and trust him with him with my life. He had taken it all. ovaries,tubes uter.and also found that I had endo. Which was a surprise lol.. I refuse to take HRT do to the side effects so I am trying to find different ways to handle it. Its only been 8 days but I want to be normal again. meaning no pain..
