  • Support Groups

    • Close Dyspraxia & Apraxia

My daughter has a combination of verbal, oral and motor dyspraxia she also has adhd. She is bright and has an extremely good memory. I have been pushing all treatments although with the waiting list it can take forever. She still dribbles and at the time of writing this she is aged 7 years 10 months. She has no social understanding and is obsessed with musicals especially grease which she has taken to trying to write a grease 3 and 4.

      Treatments

      Speech Therapy Somewhat Helpful
she improved greatly till starting school and then it has just stayed the same
    • Close Epilepsy & Seizures

my sister has a condition called nodular hetrotopia, she lives in canada, her seizures seem to be stress and season related, she was diagnosed at 20 with it.

    • Open Parenting Big Kids (5-8)

I am a mother to four Daughters aged 13,7,6,5 and a son who is 13weeks. My 13 year old has learning difficulties and my 7 year old has dyspraxia, speech and language difficulties and also adhd. I am now a stay at home mum as the kids schedules are too heavy for me to work with after school commitments and all the therapy's involed.

      Treatments

      Listening Working / Worked
The stop, look and watch me works the best. If the child continues not to look at you say it again. This works wonders.
