Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHx since 14 years of age. Now 28 y/o. Can't function w/o meds.
Treatments
- Electroconvulsive therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Helped for a time, but I was unable to complete tx due to lapse of insurance in 2002.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I've been in and out of counceling since age 14. Its a very necessary part of staying well along with medications.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- 60 mg/day, antidepressant
Open Toxic Shock Syndrome
Survived Tampon Associated Toxic Shock Syndrome in July 1995. I was 16 years old, and almost died.
