Well, today was a full day!! Labs at 7 am, primary care at 8:30am, mammogram at 10:30 am and psych with the new shrink at 11:30 am. Not including the hour and a half drive both ways. YUCK!!!!
I am back in the cast again---this time for 6 weeks. It is a removeable one--more like a brace, but it will keep my ankle stable until the torn tendon heals. Also got the terrific news that I have a displaced right hip. Which means no crossing my legs, sleeping with a pillow between my knees and surgery if it doesn't heal right. See what happens to me when I get cocky and fall too many times???!!!
The new pdoc is a female (thank the creator!!). She is patient pro-active, another blessing for sure!!!! I go back in 6 weeks and do almost all of the appointments again. C'est la vie!!!! Is might teach me to slow down during mania-------but I doubt it!!!! LOLOL

If your new female pdoc is as you say "patient pro-active" I would think that her first choice for you is stabilization,so as to teach yourself to slow down during mania.....( but you doubt it!!!! ). It is evident that your falls...torn ankle tendon and displaced right hip is a direct cause of your BP cycles. Yes, thank the creator for this new pdoc......Your have a new body and a solid mind if she is truly "pro-active"
( you know me......I tend to be pro-active ......TOO ).

Is it the boot type thing that straps on and then inflates? I broke my ankle too about 5 yrs. ago, but I was not aware that you did? Hope it heals nice and smoothly and you can skip phys. rehab...LOL!
