It has come to my attention that I should lock my entries into my journal. I have left them open because I felt I had nothing to hide---those who read them would understand that I speak what is on my mind. My family is my priority in this stage of my life and I have, in the past, felt I was safe in posting my feelings about my situation. It turns out that there have been people visiting my profile, taking bits and pieces of my journal and spreading it in a way that distorts the words to make me appear to be a real ASS.
It WILL NOT happen again. All of my journal entries from here on out will be locked to "Friends Only". Let them guess as to what I say, and then they can go screw themselves.

I always lock to friends only. There are too many rude people out there lurking in the bushes.

Your idea to lock journal entries to "friends" is a sound one. I know, after last summer's go round with MickyQ & Company, I did the same thing as I could not believe the abuse some people will spew because you happen to say something that offends their friends et al.
I feel that my friends are here to support me & HAVE done so BUT definitely do not need the aggravation of some of the a..holes out to berate me because of differing opinions or friends.
Hope the kids/grandkids are doing better & that you are still well.
