I took the long trek to Walmart this evening with Bailee Jo in tow, dressed so very pretty in her lavender fairy tutu and pink crocks (NOT!!!).  She said she needed new purple ones and I was going out of my way to avoid the shoe department and the endcap that contained the purple kids shoes.  We traversed the store, through the linens, through the yarn, through the clothing department and then I made my fatal error---we came out of the clothing department right in front of the darn shoe endcap!!!!  I tried to distract her, but she had zero'd in on those dang purple crocks.

I finished my shopping, hit the register and bought those stupid shoes and then had to put them on in the heat of the parking lot before we got to McDonalds.

Nana is a pushover, y'all.
