GOOD MORNING..JUST WANTED TO UPDATE EVERYONE.....I HAD DECIDED AGAINST THE SPINAL CORD STIMULATOR FOR NOW...........GOT SCARED THINKING IF THEY MAKE JUST ONE SLIGHT MISTAKE I COULD END UP PARALYIZED....tHE COMBINATION OF MEDS i AM ON RIGHT NOW ONLY TAPER THINGS BUT WHEN I SEE DOC AGAIN GOING TO ASK ABOUT POSSIBILITY OF NERVE BLOCK...OTHERWISE THE MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR MY AUNT IS ON SATURDAY AND THEN I CAN START HEALING PROCESS.........SORRY HAVENT BEEN AROUND MUCH TO LISTEN TO OTHERS....ROBIIN PS NOTE I HAVE ADDRESS CHANGE.

Good luck. You made a big decision not to have the SCS. I'm doing the trial now, and it's more painful than I thought, but my normal pain is gone. Good luck with it all. Have you done the nerve blocks before? Also they have other procedures that use heat or electricity to burn or deaden the nerve, but I don't know much about those things, only that they are out there. Take care and be strong.
