I am so frustrated.My knee is so horrible. I feel like i am so wobbly, even with my medication. It seemed to be under control when I just took mestinon. now i take prednisone too and its like it's gotten worse. What am i taking prednisone for if it is not really helping me. How long does it eventually take before it can be a benefit to me?

Hello Charice, when did you start prednisone? How much? You know that there is a slow increase to going on it and slow going off it. It does take a few months. Be careful side effects are weight gain and depression. I haven't had the weight gaion because after I had our daughter is when the MG came on really bad, so this limited me to eating very slow. It actually worked out that I lost 35lbs and still loosing, but the depression kicks in once and a while just keep track of it. :)
