I haven't had a shock in about 4 or 5 days. Totally pain free. It feels wonderful and I praise the Lord for such relief. I hope …
I have bilateral TN. The pain is active on the right side of my face, but controlled through tegretol. I had Microvascular Decompression brain surgery on the left side of my head in 1993 and thanks to God, I have been pain free ever since. The pain on the right side first appeared about 4 years. Last winter it got so bad that I almost had surgery but a change in the meds eventually subsided the pain and it's been under control ever since. I love to run & play my guitar.

Hey Friend!!! Hope you are having a blessed weekend! Hugs for ya, Niecy.
I have bilateral TN. The pain is active on the right side of my face in the 2nd branch of the Trigeminal nerve. I am pain free on the left side of my face thanks to the microvascular decompression brain surgery I had in 1993. I've had the pain on the right side for about 4 years and has been under control with meds. Last winter I had a bad flare up, which almost resulted in another MVD, but the pain subsided.
I was born with Ashthmas and suffered from it tremendously as a child. I was in and out of emergency rooms, doctors offices, etc. I haven't had an asthma attack in almost 20 years. I even now run rigorously, but not before a puff of albuterol. I thank God for letting me breathe normally.
