  Thanks for caring.... I'm feeling really bad. My gorgeous grand daughter is what makes my life worth living (I look after her four afternoons and most of Weds) but she's been whingy Wed-Fri and we had her overnight last night....I feel as if I've no charge left in my batteries and my depression had been worse the last month or so anyway. I have a new op date though: 19th June (less than two weeks as long as I dont get ill/have any accidents again! Hope you n yours are ok. Did your son get decent access to his dtr after their split? Love M xx

  Sorry I havent been in touch for a long while. My dtr split from her partner 8th Jan and since then I've looked after my granddaughter as well as working part time....she goes to a childminder 4 mornings so I do get a little time to myself between work and picking her up but obviously something had to go and that something was DS (and reading!). The reason I am on DS tonight is that a lovely lady I met on here and kept in touch with by text has died today and I told her dtr I'd come on and contact all her friends to give them the sad news.....She was only 40 but had a terminal heart/lung condition called PH (pulmonary hypertension). I'll try to get on DS occasionally in future.....I was due to have a knee replacement 2nd May but once I had stayed overnight on the ward they found I had a high temp and decided not to risk operating in case I had an infection that could travel to the new joint (risk of amputation!). My new date is 1st June - 2 weeks today so if you dont hear from me again for a while it'll be cos I cant get on the computer (my hubby is going to work from home to look after me and my granddaughter....that'll be a big challenge!!!). My depression isnt much better but if all goes to plan my dtr's getting a new house next month, my son is having hers and I'll be able to have his bedroom (I'm in our boxroom at the moment....you might remember I moved out of the marital bedroom over a year ago!)....I'm really looking forward to having a bigger room with a new bed and decoration in jewel colours....which I've always fancied. Again, apologies and hope you're keeping well....Love M xx
