Saline Ultrasound... Mood
Friday, April 17, 2009 | A General Update story

My surgery was a success.  There is no more septum, and no more polyp.  I have a picture perfect uterus.

Even though we are on a break, I was still curious given that its CD 13 if I had any follicles or if I had a ton of cysts since last cycle was cancelled.  I have ONE follicle!  Just 1.  Its 12 mm!  The doctor said unmedicated they gain on average 1 mm a day, and that they ovulate at about 16 mm.  So I will likelyo ovulate on CD 17, which isn't too bad.

I'm not holding out hope that I will actually ovulate much less become pregnant...but one never knows.  I had intended to start my provera on Cd 16, but I'm so glad I asked.  If I had I would have prevented the little bugger from potentially popping...but again...not holding my breathe!

I also asked him if he does mini IVF and he said NO.  They have an agreement with ARC for shared risk, so they are not an option for me to undergo IVF with.  I'm bummed because I was really hoping that I could manage something with them, but that won't happen.  So if we can raise the money it looks like i will be Viriginia bound!  Of course we need to raise a TON more money first!

We're getting there...were almost to $600...but it looks like we may have stalled ;(

Polyps! We had to have yet another one removed before this cycle began. My RE said that will increase our chances for implantation! I wish you all the best for a little miracle BFP! You never know...
