hi
How are you today? It is a tad cooler here. I turned the heat on for the first time this year just to nip the cool air out. It is a lovely day. I am going to try to divide the day into painting and knitting. I have a new helper coming today. Take care. smiles and hugs
In 1993, I had a laparatomy and was diagnosed with endometriosis (an ovarian cyst the size of a orange was also removed). Three months later I was still in lots of pain and had a laparotomy. I was on Depo Provera about 10 years with no symptoms and no pain until last year. My period came back with a vengeance as far as pain goes, so we tried Lupron for 3 months which worked great! When I went back on Depo, the pain came back. I'm about to start Seasonique and am hoping this will alleviate pain.
I was told I have IBS with constipation. My symptoms are always a million times worse during my cycle. This year a got severe pain on my left side with lots of mucous in my stool. During my cycle it feels like pins coming through during a BM and sometimes stool has gray coating. I can't get anyone to tell me where the pain on my left side (ribs) is coming from, but it is usually alleviated when I'm less constipated. When it's gas, I just ache through my rib cage.
Currently suffer from IBS and endometriosis. Considering hysterectomy but need more insight as to whether that also helps IBS.
