Really empathise: I just got all three childhood diseases: one did at my age: but I have yearly influenza injection & must sit in waiting room of Clinic after I have had it for 1 hour. So far no trouble - if I did not have it, I'd be in serious strife if I got 'flu, and then pneumonia - as am allergic to all commonly used antibiotics (most are artificial molds). So it's a trade-off all the time (I take a good book whenever I go to Surgery.) Not much fun for kids - maybe you could trot along in the middle of a Monopoly game or some such, Best wishes, janeD.

Hi, just checking in. I hope you are doing well. What kind of dance do you teach? I have been a bellydancer for 11 years. I also like salsa and swing dancing.

I know exactly how you feel: when my daughter was 2, she was diagnosed with allergies to milk, peanuts, eggs, corn and beef. Luckily she outgrew the eggs, corn and beef allergies by the age of 4. It appears she will be allergic to milk and peanuts for life, tho. You probably feel pretty overwhelmed by the food allergies and the danger the pose to your baby -- I know I did. Feel free to contact me any time if you need advice or a shoulder to cry on. I have a food allergy forum at http://wheyoutforum.proboards51.co... that covers most allergies. I also belong to a forum of moms from around Atlanta who are also going trough the same thing. There are two groups not far from you: San Clemente: Food Allergy Support Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SCFo... -San Diego: Food Allergy Support Group http://www.sandiegofoodallergy.org And of course, I'll keep you in my prayers. Joy
