oh my god.....not for me to ask, but it may be entering my mind now...
saturday.....had a seizure.....rubbed the magnet against my chest for precations...had it anyways...
sunday....had three seizures.....felt an aura.....rubbed my chest...seizures happened anyways..
some others who have the vns inplant have said that after having it installed, seizures seem to have gotten worse for them......i dont want to think that it will happen to me....not for me to say...but i pray they dont get worse................will talk to doctor in two weeks unless sooner if they continue to have him to increase the strength of the vns.....
lets take it one day at a time

vns really got me wondering if it is working now.
took my morning walk...................been rubbing the magnet against my chest during my walks and not during my walks......best to be safe than sorry
got back to the house today after my morning walk.................took my walking shoes off
next thing i knew................had a seizure
seems like every 6 to 7 days one pops up .
probably will inform my neurologist next time i see him
will keep on doing what i am soppose to do
thank god for being a loving and caring god..............got me home safetly

dont know if the vns is working....yesterday, took my walk, had a seizure, small one, did not catch it in time, to rub the magnet around my chest, got home had more, not at the same time, wonder if the vns is working... will not get too upset...things like this take time....if it should happen again real soon...............will call the doctor. god bless you all...

I'm Praying that this will start to work for you all the time Dan I know myself how it is .I'm so sorry this is still happening I would call your doctor if it keeps going on. But Lets trust in the Lord that it will stop I will be Praying God Bless.

I'm here for you, Dan. Please be careful in what you do. If things don't get better for you, I think you should contact your doctor. You've been such a good friend to me also. I just hate hearing that you are still having seizures. I don't ever remember my seizures. But I sure get scared when I come out of one and can't recall what happened. That's no fun at all. Just keep PUSHing. Pray Until Something Happens!!! I'm praying for you too. Hang in there. Love and hugs.

thanks brother dan....I am sure that it will work, god had a reason for me to go alone with it.. : ) if not, thats o k as well....god is in control.....have been to my doctor, told him about the seizures with the vns inplant turned on...he said to give it another month, may have to turn it up...will keep you informed thank you my friend....god bless

danny that is the same way i felt after they placed mine , is it on any level yet probably not bt just keep using the magnet even if it doesnt work, maybe it will get better i hope so,hope all is well metswimmer

I hope and pray this is just a 'blip' and that things will work out for you. Try not to get too anxious about this as I know anxiety can bring seizures on. I hope the week improves for you.

the best thing to do if the seizures keep happening is getting in touch with the doctor right away....don't give up on the vns yet danny just talk to your doctor about it....i pray things start to improve and just know i will put in a special prayer that everything works out for you.....love you...hxhxhx
