I have a husband, daughter and 3 dogs, a rottweiler (Madison) 2 chocolate labs (Lucy and Molly. I live in upstate New York in the country on 17 acres of land. I have been depressed on and off for the last 15 years. I also have anxiety and stress.

My passion in life are animals, especially dogs. I volunteer at a local animal. I love spending time with my dogs, they help take away my stress and depression.My dream is to win the lottery and start an animal sanctuary for unwanted and abused animals. I also like to be outdoors, bike riding, kayaking, skiing and most of all the beach.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have been depressed on and off for about 12 years. I have been on and off of anti-depressants during this time. They would work for a while, but I just don't like the side effects, especially the weight gain. I feel that If I can solve some of my issues that it would take away a good part of the depression.

- Lexapro Working / Worked
- It did work, but I stopped taking it recently because of the weight gain
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I don't feel that it really worked. I wanted suggestions on how to solve certain issues and all I got was prescriptions.
