G'Morning. It snowed again last night and watching the weather there's more. When it is cold out, the body stiffens up more, harder to get around. I'm sitting here this morning on the couch, talking to my arms and legs "wake up wake up" and they are saying "yeah ...right, lotsa luck" LOL!

Well, after the Valentines Day weekend, Mom Caroline and I thought it would be nice to relax and spend some time seeing my Aunt Charlotte who is in a local nursing home. We sell stuffed animals along with our floral products, and we thought Aunt Charlotte would get a huge kick outta seeing our animated demonstration products -- she loves her stuffed animals.
We took her to a quieter area of the nursing home where it was easier to hear each other talk and to just enjoy each other's company. Noone was around, and we sat around her and showed her the plush and she began to play. It was a really nice time. Other folks saw Aunt Charlotte playing with the plush and they came up to see what the music was about as the plush is animated. We had such a crowd in a matter of minutes, it was lovely but overwhelming at the same time. Little kids came over to see the plush animals and Aunt Charlotte loved playing with the plush and the little kids too. Aunt Charlotte was having a ball playing with the kids and everyone playing with the stuffed animals. I began to take some photos..it was just a lovely sight. Shortly it was time to go. Everyone wanted the toys and asked where they could get them. We said, well we sell them, and we wanted to show Aunt Charlotte them, thought she'd like them. Well, they all wanted the plush too. This was not expected, so I handed out business cards and took orders and have to return tomorrow to deliver plush orders. Well Aunt Charlotte had such a blast with not only the plush but with all the crowd of people, and the little kids around...she wants to do the same thing tomorrow. So, we told her that yeah, we'll be back tomorrow with some more toys.
We were not intending to make sales. We just thought we would have fun and show Aunt Charlotte these cute toys. And who can beat Aunt Charlotte's bright smile of fun in the below pictures.
Aunt Charlotte Having Fun With Irish Dog Brennan
GUNDFun Brennan. Everyone loves him! He sings "Celebration", his ears flop up and down (that's funny to watch!) and his beer mug lights up as he swings it from side to side.
Aunt Charlotte and Mom Caroline playing together with Dunkster
GUNDFun Dunkster. I get a kick outta this one. He sings Splish Splash I was Taking A Bath. His shoulders bob up and down while he sways mildly back and forth and his beak opens and shuts while singing. I love this one, and playing with his hair on top of his head. Fun stuff.
Somewhere today in the midst of the rush, I lost my voice. And I get the feeling too many people are going to applaud at that and party...LOL!!!! Hugs Ellie

Well, here in Syracuse it did not snow all that bad. We had a "blanket"...and under that a "blanket" of ice. So that was ok to be able to sweep to the side. Its warm out too, so everything is melting :)
Going to go to visit my Aunt Charlotte in a few minutes. She has dementia so we're going to go and play with some stuffed animals for a little while, and have maybe a tea party with her. I have some cleaning to do, but we'll have to see how the day goes and how the energy is doing.
Last night I was able to set my hair, something I am trying to maintain as a goal for myself for maybe twice a week. It involves my arms being up in the air to wind hot rollers in my hair. I weave the back. It usually takes everything out of me to do it, but every once in awhile I try. I did it last night and my arms are aching me today :)
Ok...ya'll have a great day...hugs Ellie
