      Treatments

      Byetta Working / Worked
      I started Byetta on 6/2/07. I had mild nausea only with the first injection. And it does work!!!!! I now have lost 45 pounds as of 7/15/08
      Glipizide Working / Worked
      Added to my program in 2005. Now taking 5 mg only in the afternoon.
      Metformin Working / Worked
      I take 1,000 mg 2x day after breakfast and dinner.

      I have been loosing weight for 47 years but the weight keeps finding me.

      Atkins Diet Somewhat Helpful
      Did work but gain it all back.

      It did work and I lost 80 pounds but couldn't afford to stay on the products. Very costly and not all natural.

      I have HBP tired several meds but not working.

      Diovan HCT Not Working
      Was on it for a year didn't work.
      Benicar Not Working
      Still on it but doesn't work BP still high.
      Diltiazem Not Working
      Caused severe flushing couldn't take it.
      Atenolol Not Working
      Tired it twice worked for the first week and then shot my BP higher.
      Plendil Not Working
      Caused severe flushing and headaches.
      Avalide Not Working
      Didn't work was switched to Diovan HCT

    • Open Prostate Cancer

      My husband 59, DX August 2007 with T1c, Grade 3, Gleason 6. PSA in March07 4.3 and in May07 5.8, was normal all other years. He did watchful waiting for 6 months while we got a second opinion.

      Treatments

      Brachytherapy Working / Worked
      Tom had 66 Cesium-131 seeds implanted April 9, 2008. His 1st follow up PSA was 1.2 in July08 and in October08 it was .9. He will have followup visit January09.

    • Open Skin Cancer
      Type: Squamous Cell Carcinoma

      On March 17th I got the results of my biopsy and I have Squamous Cell Carcinoma in the Situ also known as Bowen's Disease. I see a plastic surgeon on March 23rd due to the location on my left leg near my ankle.
