To all my friends( those very special ones, u know who u are), How r u all? I am hanging in there inspite of the pain still being terribly overwhelming. It has been sooo bad that I haven't even been to church in a month and a half. I truly miss church. I have to really be sick to not go to church. This is how bad I have been feeling. My neuro added another new med called "Tizanidine". He started me off 4mg 4x's a day. The pain had not gotten better, so he upped the med's to 8mg 4x's a day. So, along with all the other meds(specific pain meds Flubiprofen, Zanaflex, Lamictal & Tramadol). Keppra and Trileptal are seizure meds; however, my neuro said they are used as nerve blockers, and migraine med, Frova. I have decided to go w/the Tysabri. I prayed about it and I trust my Neuro. He is going to bee doing the infusion himself at his office(Greenstein Multiple Sclerosis Institute" My first appt is on Wed. 7-23-08. Please keep me in your prayers that God will take me thru this and that it will be effective. "The prayers of a righteous man/woman availeth much"!! I love u all w/the love of Christ and even some of my own love! (BIG SMILE) I pray God;s blessings upon u all!

I think of you often hon...i recognize the seziure meds..sigh..you are on some heavy stuff...i hope and pray that the tysabri works for you..i have some friends that it has helped with..they have had some great results with it...i pray you will have the same hon...please let us know how it goes..

Hi Chris! I am on many of the same meds due to pain issues. I have found that it really is a personal pick- and the docs have their arsenal of choices. We just have to be the patient to work through all the possiblities! God is in control- and loves you! Continue to rely on Him- I know He will bring us through all this for His glory.
