Journal Entry for June 29, 2007 Mood
Friday, June 29, 2007

I am feeling really horrid today, I woke up like it, so did my husband. I feel like I did something really really wrong. Our cars rego and warrent are due to expire and we will have to result to bussing again to get around. My husband still does'nt have a job. we are in debt majorly as a result of having our own business. and he feels inadaquate. my family don't come and visit. we have no friends and when we have they have taken advantage of us. The only people we go and see are my psych dr and therapist and relationship counsellor. we can't afford to pay for our power, get groceries as our benefit is'nt enough. If we want to get each other something- the other person goes without. we can't even afford to get takeaways once a week.

I wish things would get better! but they never do they keep going in a bad circle!  will my lonliness ever leave, when will my heart not be  broken?

We don't know what to do? anyone have any ideas?

Please help us!

Things are bad right now, but you have to remember you and your husband are very strong people and you will get thru this. It is going to be one step at a time to get where you want to be. You have to stay positive and never give up. I will send you some positive energy and really big hugs to help you thru this. And I am sending you lots of love and support and never forget that you have lots of support here..........Luv,Wendy

In order to keep my sanity I've had to become like a bird and see things from much farther away - I've spent my life "waiting" for "it" to get better. It never did. I had two choices. Accept it or see it from a different perspective. Further away. In the realm of the size of the world - my problems seemed smaller. But, as a single mom who raised 4 kids alone - food, "toilet paper", etc. etc. where hugh to us. All I know is start "every" day "over" every morning- forget everything "before", and leave any baggage outside the door. Put one foot in front of the other - because for some reason the good Lord has decided there's something your going to learn from all this - that will help you sometime in your future. I just wish he'd lighten up! Keep the humor and here's a hug. Sometimes putting things on a ridiculous scale of one to ten helps. Like today there's no food, Today I have no teeth, Today I have no sight, blah blah. I've never figured out if this is a way to change perspective of how we see things or a way to feel guilty because things can always be worse. But, it really helped my kids when they were frustrated with losing things. Like I can't find my other shoe, I have no leg, I have no foot, I can't afford any shoes, the dog pooped diahreah in my shoe that I found, etc. etc.
No, I'm not loony - I've just had a loooong hard (but, could be harder, lol) life. Bye

Hmmm, I know it's humbling and a hassle, (I should know I was so reluctant to look into this stuff because of these things) but have you applied for food stamps or general assistance? They may help at least somewhat with your situation. In the meantime, just hang tough and you do have a place to go where people care about you and know what you are going through, which is here. :)
