I had a wonderful dream about Jeff last night. He was showing me what he looks like in Heavan. BEAUTIFUL!!!
I bought the SoftPaws today to glue to my cat's claws so they will not tear up their foster mom's new furniture. If anyone wants to come over this weekend and assist me in this endeaver it would be greatly appreciated. Ihave stocked up on BandAids and peroxide! Hey Binky, any tips for this first timer?

SO glad you had a wonderful dream about Jeff!!!!! THANKS JEFF! Good luck with the kitty claws, I'm of no help! Love ya, Teri

What a wonderful dream. I always envy those who dream of their children. I left my cat's claws for the pro's. Good luck. Love to you. Robin

I don't dream of Michael. I wish I could at times but then realize that it would only hurt more. As for the Softpaws...
Clip the nails first. Most cat's nails are white, making it easy to see the "quick" (which is the vein). If you cut below the quick, you get blood. It is not life threatening and bandAids nor peroxide help. You need this stuff called styptic powder to stop the bleeding, but you can use cornstarch to stop the bleeding. But really, it should not be too hard to see where to clip a cat's nails, since they are always nearly white. Then after clipping, just put the glue on the Softpaws and put it on the cats nail. You will have to hold it a few seconds to make sure it sticks (it is like superglue). And don't stick one onto a nail that you have "quicked". As far as getting to the nail, just put pressure onto the foot and the nail will get exposed. Cats can actually be easier about nail clipping than dogs are. They fight harder. Good luck.
