My name is Colleen. I lost my oldest son April 21st, 2007 from a heart transplant. He lived for only 3 1/2 weeks post transplant. I have been involved in Daily Strength ever since. I have found ALL of the support that I need right here from my friends. If you are new to DS and have just lost your child, WELCOME, you have come to the right place.

Get Well Soon!
The get well is for the kitty cat LOl. Colleen, the whole nail could not have disappeared. If you had cut it too deep, you would have seen red. Blood red. The only way that nails "disappear" is if they are already broken well below the quick. Then they can drop off. Put pressure on the paw directly above the nail and see if you can find it (the nails "pop" out with pressure applied). If not, just put the soft paws on the other nails and don't worry about it. Just keep your eye on it. I am sure you kitty will be just fine!

OMG! I thought nobody could understand us playing Freebird as opposed to tradtional gospel music at Chad's service.
He has a ceramic birdhouse with "FREE AS A BIRD" engraved on it, hanging from his tree that we planted in his garden.
My daughter also had them play Stairway to Heaven. I am still looking for something for his garden using that theme. I don't have a clue.

Type: Loss of a ChildI lost my first born son on April 21,2007 due to complications from a heart transplant. He had 10 heart surgeries in his 25 years. I miss him so much. Everyone keeps saying stupid things like "time helps heal" I don't see time helping. I think the longer He's gone, the worse it will be.

Hi, My name Collen. I'm fat. I recently had some health issues that scared me into quitting smoking and losing weight. I've never lost weight before in my life. Nothing works.
Treatments
- 6 Week Body Makeover Not Working
- Not one pound lost and I was a slave to the food prep.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- I try to eat organic. Hasn't helped with weight loss but now if I eat something processed I feel ill.
- Physical Exercise Somewhat Helpful
- Never lost a pound in 11/2 years of going to the circle gym but I did FEEL better.
