Hi my name is Angie and I've been a member since June 2007 but have never written in my journal. I just read all the stories everyone else has written in their journals. I swear we are all suffering the same way. I guess no one has the cure yet for chronic pain and fibro and all the aches and pains that goes along with it. I thought I would write today because I was wondering if anyone out their has a pain pump. I had one put in in March 08 and it has helped my back pain that I had for 12 years. I thought I would never be able to sit and stand with only little pain but it has worked. It doesn't help with the fibro and all the other aches and pains but anything is better than nothing. I was on so many drugs and my kids told me stories I don't remember so I decided to get off the drugs for the 3rd time and try antything new. That's when they suggested the pain pump. Got to go I'll be back.

Is their anyone on DS that has received a pain pump for chronic pain. I am interested in knowing how they're doing with it. It doesn't make everything go away, but it did help the worst spot I had which was in my lower back.

If you go up to treatments at the top of the screen and click on it then go to P for pain pumps or D for Dialudid you should be able to look it up. I had no idea you could get a pain pump with dialudid...I would love one of those..hugs, V
