Grrr. Well the latest is this.. I called the attorney again this morning (since they never returned my call yesterday) and spoke with his attorney (last week I spoke with the receptionist and the other attorney in the office who told me they <as in the attorneys> had sent the modification) and was told that they didn't send the modification it is the clerk that sends it... I told him I had a problem then because I'm getting told something different by everyone I talk to in his office... About that time the receptionist comes in and says she did send it.. He was just so ready to tell me they didn't send it without even first checking.. Anyway he said he would call the records officer to see if she had gotten it since I spoke with her yesterday morning... He actually called me back!!! A few minutes later he called me back and said that Mrs. J hadn't opened her mail yet, but that the facility was faxing her the copy they recieved, and if all goes well he would be released today... (Now of course this is with the assumption that I believe everything the attorney told me... Him calling, her saying that.. Which I only 25% believe, in fact I don't even really believe it; I guess it's a 25% hope that he's telling me the truth about it)... I know I could double step and call mrs. J for myself, but I'll wait. I don't mind being the squeeking wheel, but don't want to be a pest either. If he really did call her, it seems she'd be on her toes now with me calling yesterday and his attorney calling today. So hopefully I get the call today, and today is a good driving day. A dry day.. It's getting nasty again tonight... So today would be perfect.
If it's not today or tomorrow I've given up for him being home by Christmas.. Besides expect the worse, then you won't be disappointed you can only have good news. LOL

LOL! Sweetheart that is what I like to hear! You poking fun at yourself. You know if he isn't home today he is very very very very very very very very...okay you get the point....very soon will be home.
Laugh at the way this idotoitic system is...or you could so easily cry but what would you gain...nothing but puffy eyes when you need to read the caller id when theey do call and your heart stops and you have to clear your throat before you can speak because you know this is the call the one you have been dreaming and waiting for....it is here! But are your eyes puffy? Can you read the caller id? Or are you saving your tears for joyfully throwing your arms around him and crying for joy that he is coming home this time with YOU!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Rhea. You have to laugh or you will cry, but I see tears of joy in your near future. I am so excited for you. I know that your guy must be getting antsy too. I know that you have to be sooooo excited. I will continue to pray that today is the day.
