Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Hi. My name is Lori and I am a 38 year old mother, wife, daughter and special needs high school teacher. 3 weeks ago I admitted myself to the hospital and voila a DVT in my popliteal vein. I had no redness, but some swelling and tightness in my calf. The hospital doctor said it was procedure not to treat it. I went to my own doctor and she put me on Lovenox and Coumadin. This is my 2nd clot, the first being a PE 14 yrs ago. My goal here is to meet others that understand what I am going through!

Close Pulmonary Embolism
I am a 14 year PE survivor with a DVT at the present. I have heterozygous FVL.
Treatments
- Lovenox Working / Worked
- Bruising. Worked as far as I know.
Open Brain / CNS Tumors
My mother has just turned 70. 14 days ago she was diagnosed with Gliomatosis Cerebri, which is malignant and inoperable. I am in the midst of researching as much as possible in order to help her. It is affecting her Parietal and Temporal lobes. My father and I are caring for her as of this moment. She is the bravest woman I know.
