Im a 47yrs old male, I have moderate to severe chronic pain everyday of my life for the past10 years, I was diagnosed with sever stinosis in the neck, severe D.D.D At 37 I had to have a lamanectomy from C3 to C7 inclusive, do to herniated disc that affected my spinal cord. Presently I can not feel with my hands, no sensation, I have pain from my head to my toes. I have been on every type of pain medication and all stopped working after a while Now I take Lyrica and and medical marijuana

I do so feel for yo!. I am much older than you though and they have replaced the disc between c5/c6 with a prosthesis which has a 30 yr life span.This procedure is not offered in many places - I had it done in Germany, but I have heard it is also done in Canada. Had they not done the procedure, then I would have similar pain to you.( and did before hand) As it is I do have whole body neuropathic pain,almost certainly a consequence of 40 years of living with damage to my neck. It is currently being successfully controlled by lyrica. Perhaps they will eventually be able to replace your discs too. I will think of you and pray you get help.

Close Chronic Pain
hi im jj from canada back in 1997 i slipped on the ice and bad things happened to my spinal cord. I have lost total feeling in my right and about 1/2 in my left.I have multiple pain location legs arms neck head. The doctors tell me there is nothing they can do except give me drugs.I have been on every class of med nown, I have done all theropies nothing seems to work, so I just learn to put my self in a happy place and keep smiling, after all nobody likes a complainer.
Treatments
Close ADHD / ADD
Have a 13 year old son who is on 72 mg of Concerta a day and a daughter who is on 56 mg a day of Concerta. The meds are working. My son also has some severe learning disabilities and is now in a school that specializes in learning disabilities and he is now a different person has gained back his positive outlook and feels good about himself. Have to watch the sugar content and what he eats but alot of the time kids are not diagnosed properly and school becomes a big problem.
Treatments
- Concerta Working / Worked
- is working but higher doses for both kids are needed.
- Ritalin Working / Worked
- Son had really bad side effects did not work. For my daughter it worked for quite awhile and then needed to switch of Concerta
- Dexedrine Not Working
- worked for few years on son but with him growing older just stopped working. Big changes. He was taking twice a day. Longlasting did not work

- did not work at all
