Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
It was suggested to me that I "may have" this when I was 13 years old. I had very irregular menstrual cycles, if any at all. Recently had a ruptured cyst. Very painful!
Treatments
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- Not taking this medication any longer. When I did take it, I took it for close to 5 years. It effected libido negatively, but I wasn't hopeless. It did treat depression symptoms for the most part.
- Metformin Somewhat Helpful
- I had to quit taking this as it gave me diarrhea;I also quit because I don't like taking medications for illnesses. I prefer[and have yet to find] alternative solutions.
- Oral Contraceptives Somewhat Helpful
- They regulated my period, but didn't help with my acne or food cravings. Not utilizing birth control at this time.
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- I have taken this medication. Regulated my cycles, but made my breasts extremely sore and made me very sleepy after taking...
Close Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I began smoking at about 11 yrs. of age, although not consistently as I couldn't buy them regularly. I smoked more consistently as a teenager and then quit at 17. I quit for about 4 and 1/2 yrs.[slipped up 3 times- smoked a cigarette each time]. I started up again in August 2005 and quit February 2007; started again in October 2007. I am currently on the road toward being smoke-free...again.

Open Bipolar Disorder

- Didn't like this one. Made me nauseaus...
- Lithium Not Working
- Really did not like this stuff. Made me feel awful.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- Helps me sleep...not sure how it will help the mood swings and depression.
- Topamax Not Working
- Didn't do a thing...
- Trileptal Too Soon to Tell
- Zyprexa Not Working
- Don't think we tried this one long enough to tell if it was effective.
Open Breakups & Divorce
I am divorced. I would not wish it upon anyone. I would say that the divorce was 90 % my fault. I will disclose details later, perhaps, if you ask.

- My ex-husband says that he forgives me...mostly. Once he does, I think I can fully recover from the pain I caused him.
