I just had a baby march 8 2008 and she is my world. I love anything to do with the outdoors when I can even get out. I love to sing, and do lots of artsy things. I love to cook which is a positive and a negative considering I can't eat anything that I cook :(. I'm super crazy tall and most days hate it. Somedays I like to think I have a sense of humor. I have three cats. They are crazy. I have a bf who loves me to death and wants me to ultimately get better if it's possible. I live in a tiny towmn where everyone knows eachothers business.

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
Well ive been sick my entire life. The doctors always said it was just gas and i was prone to upset stomachs. I finally went into see a different doc and he probed a little further and i had all those uncomfortable tests done :( When i was 15 a week before xmas they diagnosed me with crohns disease. Ever since its been a down hill battle.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- As long as i would stay strict to diet i would probably be in a different, and feeling a lot better, but food is just too darn good.
- Flagyl Not Working
- The stuff didnt do a darn thing. i could have taken just vitamins and it would have done me more good.
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- It would help if you were really sick, but as soon as they take you off it you be further back then when you started it.
- Purinethol Somewhat Helpful
- Have been on it for the past five years. I can say it holds the symptoms at bay but it will never put me in remission.
- Acidophilus Working / Worked
- This a bacteria pill that helps the flora in your gut so you can become balanced and easier digest food. When i take it appropiately i have a wider range of food options.
