I am S/W/F (49)have a 11 yr old son. 2 older sons that live outside of the home. I work for a asthma doctor. I love family, friends, reading, poems, dinner, movies,country music,etc... I believe that things happen for a reason and till I know the reason i do my best to live like I am dying. I love to laugh, I like to make friends and to talk.

Close Diverticulitis
In Nov 06 i began to have problems with my diverticulitis and my Ibs. I was in the hospital in Jan 07 for a week. then spent the next 6 to 8 wks trying to get well enough for surgery. I almost did not make it to the surgery pretty bad inside. have a colostomy that has put the fear of what my life will be like. I would like to talk to people like me. I have ups and downs. I get scared but determine to live my life like I was dying. would like to share stories, hints and anything else.
