Well, I got the results from my pet scan. Things seem overall to be progressing. The tumors in my lungs are smaller, and the activity in the adrenal gland is less. However, it seems that another small tumor has shown up on c2 of my spine. Radiation seems to be the answer for this. I had radiation on the adrenal gland back in December and it seemed to benefit me, but it did not get rid of the pain, that seems to be nerve damage. Anyway, I talked to all the doctors and asked for a break. I want to go on a trip west with my friends, and I want to feel as well as possible. I told them I am physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. I have been on chemo or radiation for over a year now. They agreed, so I am not taking any treatments of any kind until sometime in July. I need this time to re-group and heal a bit so I can continue this journey.

I think you are very wise to have a break. It will benefit you.. I'm sorry you have to go trough some more treatment though. Lots of love and healing energy to you.. xxx

Oh Cath, that gnawing, aching pain can be so debilitating. It wears a body and soul out from the sheer energy of trying to beat it.
