I have finally been cleared by the liver specialist to start the process of getting a kidney transplant.  It has been over 5 years since my 1993 transplant failed.  I have been on home dialysis and can't wait to be free of the machine.  I have 2 adult daughters and one is donating a kidney to me.  The most wonderful gift anyone could ever get.  We will start testing very soon.  The co-ordinator is setting up the appointments.  I will enter any progress we make as it happens and hope the big day comes soon.
