Dx w/ SLE Oct. 2006 in college. Spent 9 wks in the hospital w/ kidney failure due to nephritis and E.Coli. On dialysis for about a month until my kidneys came back :) Had a DVT in each leg with thrombectomies to correct. Improving with frequent rheumy appts

Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Got my first DVT on a plane ride to europe but didn't know what it was. When I got home a thrombectomy was performed. Got a second DVT while in the hospital with kidney failure. Now have 4 stents in right leg and a vena cava filter.

- Lovenox Not Working
- heparin allergy
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
Open Shingles
During my 9 week hospital stay, was caught early and treated. SO PAINFUL! Treated with valtrex and percocet. All better now, hope i dont get it again.
