Have suffered depression since daughter died, take meds. i'm good, but need to know how to help someone else

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI became an official Grammie 2yrs.& 3mo. ago. It is the BEST!!! I also have 4 grandaughters who technically are not mine, they are my boyfriend's. They are all so sweet. I was 1st diagnosed 15 yrs ago when my daughter died in a car accident. medication & my 2 other kids are all that kept me alive. I enjoy life & cherish every moment.
Treatments
- Effexor Working / Worked
- I have been on several antidepressants for almost 15yrs. Effexor has worked the best.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- worked on the depression but i didn't feel anything. did not like.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- my depression is from a chemical imbalance they say so therapy really doesn't help
Open Breakups & Divorce
I've been married & divorced 3x. Now in a live in relationship, not sure this one is good. Is it me or do I just make lousy choices. Adult step kids are big issue. Also how he treats my kids.

- Tried it with 2 & 3. Didn"t help obviously.

- Came to the conclusion they had issues.
