Blessed with wisdom 2 guide me
thru the wilderness.
See me happy inside and out.
I gain strength thru writing what I feel
the trails I been thru was a wake call
Men are not worthy of my womanhood
they steal like the devil.
I want to live financially independent, I want
2 live without the BS. The sadness i feel isnt
compared 2 the freedom I seek.
Being on my own is like a vacation I need.
Living on my own 2 feet.

Girl I loved this poem. I enjoyed it and your right some men can steal like the devil huh! I''m so over that shit.....( had to vent that out) Your on a right path. financially independence is great .....you'll accomplish I want that as well and I will be working my ass off to be successful when you leave the wrong people behind is you notice YOU and your true determination/ puropose in life.

It's fine to feel that way, but you must remember that not all males present the same problems. As long as you are sure of yourself, and what you want, in other words, you know yourself, you can have male friends in life. Sometimes they add something good to your life. I have been a widow for 30 years, and have'nt had a male friend since my husband died. Sometimes I wish I had a male friend, other times I'm glad that I don't. When do I really miss a man in my life??? When my car gives problems, or an electric implement goes haywire, like my washing machine did on Tuesday. Fortunately I have family members that can sort that one out. Loneliness, can sometimes make you do things, that you would'nt otherwise. Just be carefull when you feel vulnerable, not to enter into a relationship. Hope this helps clear some issues up for you. Stacks of love and prayers for you, from me.

I feel this poem 100%! Im on the path of doing the same thing, financial independence, and its a hard cookie to chew. Your thoughts are in the right place and if you dont reach your goal keep speaking of them and keeping them alive. Never forget or leave behind what you strive for.

Hi, I gave you a comment on your poem! Did you even get it? My computer was on the blink for a while, because it got struck by lightning, just like me. Fortunately I did'nt suffer any bad after effects, but I'm still wondering if my computer has fully re-cuperated??
