God's sense of humor Mood
Wednesday, March 11, 2009 | A Funny story
I had the funniest thing happen to me yesterday. I noticed that this week I had a sh orter period than normal. I am thinking Yay, my body is finally back to a normal setting again. The last couple of days I wake up naseous, especially right after I eat or take my meds and vitamins. I am starting to go to the bathroom more. My oldest son just says out of the blue, Mom, you only get like this when you are pregnant. I thought NO way. I had a tubal after my third child two years ago. I did have the laproscopical procedure which is supposed to be the cut and burn one. I decided to take a trip to Walmart to see my options for a home test. I was on the isle looking at the tests and an older woman in her 70s-80s comes up to me and says, "Honey, you need to have your tubes tied." I threw my little hands on my hips and said, "Honey, I did! Two years ago after my third child was born. I don't think it's working any more." She laughed and was in shock. She said, " I have NEVER told anyone this story but I feel compelled to tell you. My cousin had 3 kids, had a tubal and then a few years later was pregnant with her 4, went on to have 5, and then she had to have a hysterectomy. " I said, "It's God. that's who told you to come tell me the story. I was praying for his answer and I am sure this is his plan for my life. He sure is funny, isn't he?" She hugged me, I hugged back and She said, "I bet you were not praying for an abundance in kids were you?" I said, "No, I was looking for it in finances. I am sure he is going to have a hilarious way of working things out." I came home, took the test and it was inconclusive. I think I must be barely getting pregnant. I usually know way ahead of the tests. It took 6 in 3 months for me to know I was carrying my oldest child. I kept arguing with the doctors until they did an ultrasound to prove me wrong, guess what? Their kidney infection and flu they kept telling me I had was a baby. I got nauseous last night too.  I am waiting to see what this miraculous event will bring into my life. It was funny. I laughed and laughed.
