What I'm up to Mood
Thursday, April 24, 2008 | A General Update story

I am busy this time of year. My oldest is now 11, his birthday was yesterday. We had a time (not good one) with family yesterday. It's all blown over pretty much so, I am glad it's done. Today has definately been better. I'm taking two new supplements. I've seen research and heard some good testimonies on them both. I am starting on Fibralgia from Nature's Sunshine and am starting to drink Xango's mangosteen juice. I've been on the Fibralgia 3 days. I had two very high pain days when I got up. I took my meds waited an hour and nothing. I ate lunch took my Fibralgia, vitamins, and the next hour the pain was down by half. My energy levels are already not dipping and having the extremes I was experiencing before. I am sleeping better. I wake up feeling refreshed. I am able to have "me" time at least an hour/day. My fibro fog still hits first thing in the morning but once I eat and take my supplements, it lifts. I am still taking my Elavil and Robaxin. The Fibralgia is malic acid combined with magnesium. It reduces inflamation. I drink 2 oz. of aloe vera juice with 2 oz of the Xango juice. Mangosteen juice has been proven to also reduce inflammation which causes pain. I know the docs tell you Fibro doesn't have inflammation but it does. I had an RA factor and do not have Rheumatoid Arthritis. My xrays showed that. The Xango has cranberry, apple, pear, blueberry juice mixed with the mangosteen. It tastes more like the strawberry which is my favorite fruit. I said, Man that is medicine I actually enjoy taking. Today was day two. It takes time to see the results. There was no drug interactions with my meds. I have a friend who is a certified herbalist. She charges $35 for her assessment. She'll ask all about your life, supplements, health issues, drugs, you name it. Then, she designs a healthy program just for you. It does help. I'm getting my body ready because I am going to take Tae Kwon Do sometime in the next 3 years. I am in life coaching school. Next time I write, I will answer the question of what is a life coach. I try to get on here at least once/week. Today is update all my forums day. lol.....People miss me when I have my head stuck in the books. All my books are online too. I learn on my own time and have a teleclass once per week live. It's so much fun and has improved my outlook on life tremendously. I have a coach and love her. I wish you all a pain free and awesome day! Crystal
