Amazing to me each time my annual pet scan results come back AGAIN with no evidence of disease. I still am scared...still stressed...though...each time one is ordered by Onc Doc. He said if this test came back clean he was cutting me loose. That scares me too. I've been seeing him every 3-6 months for almost 5 years. And he is a great human to know.What is it Gibran said? However, I would talk to your doctor about your fears of being 'cut loose' My check ups stopped after five years and I had a recurrence within the two years following that.. only picked up because I had an instinct that something felt wrong.. Don't want to dampen your celebrations but there is no room for complacency with these things. I'm sure you are having a great stress free time after such a result.. and I am celebrating here with a cup of tea and a big smile..
